Wrong LayerZero, Right Price Pump

Wrong LayerZero, Right Price Pump

Funny thing happened today with the ZRO token.

Reuters reported that Advent International, one of the world’s largest private equity firms, invested $1 billion in LayerZero Power Systems to support data center expansion.

Crypto traders immediately rushed to buy the token of the omnichain protocol LayerZero, pushing its price up by 6%. Now, the ZRO token isn’t some random hype coin - it powers a protocol used for messaging between pretty much all major blockchains. And if you actually want to get your hands on it, we’re always happy to help at rabbit.io - you can swap just about any crypto for ZRO easily.

There’s just one small problem: LayerZero Power Systems has nothing to do with the LayerZero protocol. It’s a completely different company that just happens to have a similar name.

Then again, lots of things are pumping today. Maybe ZRO would’ve gone up anyway.
