At the Bitcoin++ Scaling Edition conference in Istanbul, there was a hackathon - and the winner was a wallet called Artmak. I really like the concept behind it, and I want to share it with you.
The wallet runs straight from your browser. You open the website and see small colorful blobs floating freely across the screen. One of them is yours. You can move it around and place it anywhere on the screen.
If you click on someone else’s blob, you can send them some sats. When a blob receives sats, it grows larger and slower. When it sends sats, it shrinks and becomes quicker. Sending and receiving turns into pure play.
I’ve never seen a wallet designed like this before. And honestly, I think gamification is exactly what Bitcoin has been missing lately. With big funds stepping in, Bitcoin has started to feel too serious, almost out of reach for regular people.
But that’s not true at all! Anyone can still have fun with just a handful of sats - you could even let your kid play around with friends using those colorful blobs.
Right now, you only need 2.53 USDT ERC20 on rabbit.io to grab some sats. For other assets, the minimum swap amount might be higher, but it’s still easy and affordable for almost anyone to get a few. We’ll send them straight to your own wallet - though not yet to Artmak. For now, Artmak only works on testnet and doesn’t support real sats.
I’m really looking forward to its launch. What about you - are you ready to see Bitcoin as a game again?
