Longevities has launched its website longevities.fun, and it is a great example of clear and effective communication.
Longevities is an AI agent that recommends life-extending supplements and medications. Essentially, it’s a biohacking bot with the ambitious goal of defeating death. Its creator, Jacob Kim - a highly active developer with over 1,500 GitHub contributions last year - credits his inspiration to Bryan Johnson’s "Don’t Die" initiative.
Jacob’s passion seems genuine. For someone as driven as him, finding more time to complete everything he’s working on makes sense - and immortality would be the ultimate solution.
Still, when I first explored Longevities, I was skeptical. The project features a token, LONGAI, on the Solana platform. Why would an AI agent need a token? Was the project just a front to promote it? And what data was the AI trained on - scientific research or Instagram posts?
The website answered these questions. The developer explains both the AI’s data sources and the token’s purpose: funding the project. When you buy LONGAI directly, you help fund development. Buying it on public markets raises the token’s value, allowing the developer to sell at a profit and reinvest in Longevities.
This honesty is refreshing. Unlike others who hype their tokens as community wealth builders, Jacob Kim is upfront about the financial motives.
Currently, LONGAI is available only on Raydium, and you need $SOL to buy it. If you want to support Longevities, you can purchase $SOL on rabbit.io and use it to invest in the project.
