Is the November 28 Magic Gone?

Is the November 28 Magic Gone?

Today is November 28. A year ago, I wrote about how this date seems to have a strange, almost magical influence on Bitcoin’s price. Many of the levels we later remembered as multi-year tops or bottoms were reached within a narrow window - roughly three weeks before or after this date. More precisely: November 28 ± 19 days.

Back then I joked that if Bitcoin didn’t set a new ATH around November 28, 2024, then the next logical window would be November 28, 2025.

But looking at the market now, it doesn’t feel like we’ll see a new all-time high within the next three weeks. So what happened - has the magic stopped working?

Or maybe we’re looking at it from the wrong side.

What if the price slightly above $80,000 that we saw on November 22, 2025, wasn’t a missed peak - but a multi-year bottom? What if we don’t return to that level for a very long time (or ever)? In that case, the pattern still holds. The market didn’t give us the global top everyone expected - it delivered a global bottom instead.

Let’s revisit this in a year or two and see which version of November magic wins.
