AI Agents Missed TRUMP. Can GPT Predict SUI?
The spotlight in the crypto community is once again on the Virtuals platform. This time - thanks to the successful launch of the Arbus token, which has drawn serious attention and delivered impressive returns for holders. You might remember Virtuals for its AI agent tokens – especially those in the DEFAI space. Arbus is also loosely tied to that narrative. The DEFAI hype faded when people realized no AI agent had recommended buying the TRUMP token on January 17–18. Then came crashes in February, March, and April – and again, none of the agents managed to give users a meaningful heads-up.
Frankly, I don’t see much reason to revive the DEFAI narrative. General-purpose AI models now seem to understand the crypto market well enough that the need for narrowly specialized AI agents has faded.
